PLC PROGRAMMING

SIEMENS • SAFETY • TIA PORTAL

Siemens PLC programming: S7-1500/1200/300/400, TIA Portal V13–V21, STEP7, Safety Integrated (F-CPU). Modification and reprogramming of existing machines. 20+ commissionings on 3 continents.

We program SIEMENS controllers — that is our core specialization. We work in TIA Portal V13–V21 and classic STEP7, and we program Safety Integrated and F-CPU. We have completed over 20 commissionings on three continents — from single machines to complete production lines.

We also handle NCU and 840D SL, as well as Rockwell, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi and Omron platforms. We take on both new commissionings and troubleshooting in running systems — including the ones where documentation is incomplete and the code was written by someone else.

Scope of services

  • First Commissioning - initial startup from scratch
  • Full production line commissioning
  • Safety programming (ISO 13849-1 PL e / SIL 3)
  • Support and optimization of running systems

Modification and reprogramming of existing machines

Reprogramming a machine does not require its manufacturer. We modify the software of existing machines and lines even when no documentation or source code survives — we upload the program directly from the controller, analyze the logic and implement the changes, testing on site while production keeps running.

Typical jobs: changing a machine program after a product change, improving cycle times and output, removing a fault nobody could find, and taking over machines from companies that have left the market.

Automation for high-requirement production

We automate production where mistakes cost the most: full batch traceability, safety systems up to PL e / SIL 3, one-hundred-percent quality inspection and as-built documentation ready for audit.

The same rigor applies in the defense industry supply chain, where AQAP 2110 quality standards set the benchmark. We are ready to work as an automation subcontractor for defense manufacturing plants in Poland and Germany.

Frequently asked questions

Which PLC platforms do you program?

We specialize in Siemens: S7-1500, S7-1200, S7-300/400, TIA Portal V13–V21, classic STEP7, Safety Integrated (F-CPU) and NCU/840D SL. We also work with Rockwell (Studio 5000), Beckhoff (TwinCAT), Mitsubishi and Omron.

Do you program safety systems?

Yes. We deliver certified Safety Integrated programs compliant with ISO 13849-1 up to PL e / SIL 3, including F-CPU programming and safety function validation.

How long does a production line commissioning take?

A typical machine commissioning takes 1–3 weeks, a complete line 4–12 weeks depending on complexity. With 20+ commissionings on three continents behind us, we give realistic schedules at the quotation stage.

Can you modify the program of an existing machine?

Yes — modifying machine software is our daily work, even without documentation or source code. We upload the program from the CPU, analyze the logic, make the changes and test on site. We also reprogram machines built by other manufacturers and integrators.

Can a new function be added to an old machine?

In most cases yes: new recipes and product variants, extra sensors, changed operating sequences or communication with higher-level systems (MES, traceability). We first check CPU reserves and spare I/O, then present the scope and quote for extending the program.

How does defense manufacturing automation differ from regular automation?

Through stricter traceability, documentation and reliability requirements — the benchmark is AQAP 2110, i.e. ISO 9001 extended with NATO quality requirements: full batch traceability, material accountability and audit-ready documentation. We apply the same rigor daily in high-requirement industrial projects.
